Runners are tough
When I run and think of running this is what drives me, running the unthinkable!
This was a 9+ mile trail run I did with some friends and my dog. I was 11 weeks pregnant at the time : )

It is from the run leg of an Ironman which to me shows pain with a mission/goal in mind allowing the brain to override the body to complete the mission.
